<p style="text-align: center;">I have had positive dealings with Sandgate AE since 2012, mainly through its sister business, All Brand Caravan Services (both parts of McArthur Industries). Caravan owners will recognise the value of having auto electrical and van services under essentially the one roof as there is always something to install or fix, although Sandgate AE is a stand alone business in its own right. Based on previous friendly, helpful and expert services I chose Sandgate AE to fit a 12 volt, lithium battery based system to my Ford Everest and Drifta drawer setup. Requirements were fairly specific and they were fully met. There are various inputs and outputs and the setup is neat and unintrusive and integrated into the vehicle. I have no doubts about its integrity and safety. In short I am very pleased with the outcome. All done on time, as quoted and with a clean and neat result.
Plaudits go to Todd Mc Arthur who owns the business (and whose cheerful, helpful and "do the right thing" approach clearly influences the way the business runs) and to James, the service adviser who interfaced with me to ensure that requirements were understood, taken on board and met. While doing a complimentary safety check of the car, Sandgate Auto Electrics advised us our auxiliary battery had failed a load test (we were aware that it had been failing for some time) so we had it replaced at the same time. We dropped off our vehicle at 10:00am and it was ready to go at 4:00.
