In this job on a brand new Ford Ranger Platinum (that new car smell…) Andrew installs a dual battery setup, featuring the super slimline (65mm) Invicta 100Ah lithium battery along with a REDARC BCDC1240 charger.
The Dual Battery Setup was installed in the rear cabin area behind the backseat. Due to the vehicle’s configuration, the factory subwoofer had to be removed from its original position. It was then relocated under the seat, with custom brackets fabricated to ensure a secure and professional fit.
The Invicta Super Slim 100Ah Lithium Battery was neatly installed behind the rear seat of a Ford Ranger Platinum as part of a professional Dual Battery Setup. This compact installation maximises cabin space while delivering powerful off-grid capability.
Moving into the tray, we custom-built a panel to replace the factory setup. This upgrade now houses the tonneau cover switch, dual USB chargers, and an auxiliary socket—all powered by the auxiliary battery from the dual battery system.
Further enhancements in the tray include a 50Ah Anderson plug circuit, a 12V accessory outlet circuit, and additional dual USB sockets. All wiring was installed with appropriate circuit protection and routed back to the auxiliary battery, ensuring safe and efficient operation within the complete Dual Battery Setup.
